Some of you may have noticed Coach Larry doing some team-specific workouts outside of class. He and two other athletes are in the process of preparing as a team for Wodapaloza, a HUGE national CrossFit competition in Florida in January 2018. We realize many of you also love competing as a team and might be interested in developing your CrossFit team skills.
What are Team Skills? Synchronized burpees, bar muscle-ups, pull-ups. Strategy, mental toughness, planning for the unexpected….in teams of 2-6 athletes, dependent on the competition.
Larry will be organizing a few team workouts per week. These won’t be classes, but rather team practices that Coach Larry will participate in as an athlete. Obviously, we’re always around to help but the emphasis will be on team building and team skills for team CrossFit competitions). The schedule will vary week to week and we will send out an email and a Facebook post to announce the intended schedule for the week. If you are interested in participating in these practices and developing your team skills, reach out to Coach Larry or Brian B.
These are just some of the highlights of the achievements and milestones you are all living- both inside and outside of the box. I’m sure there are more, but we can’t celebrate or support you if we don’t know what’s happening! 🙂 Please email me and/or let your coaches know what’s going on!
Keep on being awesome everyone!
